Oh The Good Ol' Hockey Game

Last night I was given two tickets to the Halifax Mooseheads hockey game (Quebec Major Junior League). So I took Hannah and she had a blast. She loves hockey. She was jumping and yelling, cheering and hooting and hollering. It was great.

She wanted to hang in for the whole game but a couple minutes into the third I asked if she was tired and she asked if we could go home now. So we did. The score was 5-5 at that point. I found out this mooring that the home team pulled out a 7-6 victory in OT.

Showing Off

I love this shirt, a friend of ours (thanks Cheryl) gave it to us. Yesterday was the first time Tobias wore it. Unfortunately because it is short sleeve it was hidden underneath a sweater.

We had all three of the kids pictures taken at Walmart yesterday. Too cute.

Childlike Honesty

Some moments are so cute you just have to smile.

Last night Isaiah didn't eat any supper (which has become the norm) then he wants something before bed. I had enough and decided it was time to break the habit. I didn't give him anything to drink and continually encouraged him to eat his supper or there was nothing until morning, during my after supper clean up/load the dishwasher.

The final warning came, "Isaiah are you sure you don't want to eat this before it gets thrown out?" "No thank you, I'll go to bed hungry."

A few minutes later he was caught reaching for the cookies on the counter that was supposed to be the treat for after supper. I asked what he was doing?

He replied "I wasn't thinking about getting a cookie, really I wasn't."

Cute.

Go HABS Go!!!

Bragging rights are up fpr grabs tonight when my team faces my brothers team. Go Habs Go!!!

Apple Picking in the Valley

Since moving back to Halifax last summer we have made it a family tradition to go apple picking in the Annapolis Valley on Thanksgiving weekend. We went back to the same place as last year yesterday. We picked 5 10lb bags of apples for $20. Took in a hayride, then hit a farmers market for Ice Cream and to buy all the veggies for today's delish dinner. I pigged out at lunch and leftovers for supper. Gotta love Turkey and all the fixin's.

The Sweetness of Victory

It's a beautiful thing. The picture speaks for itself. That's Darcy Tucker watching the celebration.
